My wife and I found Bandidos almost by accident one day. We were in the midst of looking for our ‘dream’ house in Layton. After, trying for hours touring homes we were tired and hungry and no one wanted to cook. We drove around Layton – trying to find a place we could eat and rest.
We drove by Marie Calendars and stumbled upon this little joint. What a find!
The place is always clean, the staff are passionate about the food they serve and will answer any questions you might have. The manager is personable, and always greats you with a very warm smile.
We have tried many of the dishes on the menu here. These are the best:
The Sweet Pork – this dish is now listed as Savory Pork on the menu however, it has a tasty pork filling and has a sweet and savory tomatillo sauce. $9
Cheese Quesadilla’s – Straight off the Kids Menu. This is my Son’s favorite when he cannot get the Sonora Hot Dog special on Wednesdays only! $5
The El Jeffe or the “Boss” has Shrimp and Carne Asada in the Burrito covered with a zesty and tasty Chile Colorado (Medium Heat) Sauce. It is an amazing deal at about $10
