Now for those who are from Nevada, the Palomino is not a club that frequents ladies of the night. It is a really high class establishment that has really high prices. It has to, it has a view of the bay and the Bay Bridge that is the best I have seen. We sat down in a reserved area and looked out as the sun set in the west over the Pacific. Just having the water near you some how makes you more calm. Also knowing that Kevin and Aria was picking up the tab didn’t hurt either.

The place was really remarkably decorated. They had an open kitchen set up, and the flames from the grill were flying. It was really neat to see the kitchen staff work as they pre-paired patrons meals. We were however placed behind a shrubbery and a planter. So instead of watching the kitchen staff work, I got to see the Bay Bridge for the two hours we were there.

They came out and gave the tables two appetizers, the same ones. The appetizer was a plate of cross potato slices (same kind you get at Chick-a-filet) with a blue cheese dressing all over it. They were scarfed up in a matter of minutes. The wait staff came through and asked what cocktails we would like. I ordered a large cool Coke! Some had wine and some hand other soft drinks. Those who drank wine said they had good stuff, they looked happy.

I ordered a salad with Maytag Blue Cheese Dressing. People, can we talk? This salad was one of the single most exquisite salads i have ever had. Hands down. Its the Blue Cheese really. I would just sit there and eat the cheese and a few pieces of lettuce and would sop it up with my sourdough bread. To be in San Francisco, like my friend Jason Stock coined the phrase “FlavorGasim”.

The steak I ordered was a tad bit over done. I ordered medium-rare and they cooked it medium-well. It was very dry. However, the potato’s were excellent. And the Steak was not that bad, the crust was pretty good. And all downed with an Icy Cold Coca-Cola. I don’t know how much it cost, however I heard it was pricey. Thank you Kevin, Jim and the Aria e-Commerce team.
