I ran across a couple of articles that suggest that you can make health fast food choices. Many of us made New Years resolutions to make better choices with food that goes into our bodies. Now, making your own food, choosing the ingredients is always the best option – however, like you – I have to go out to eat sometimes and have to make a choice between starving and eating well.
So after some tasty research outings – and website checking – here is what I found:
1. Subway Veggie Delite (footlong)
Calories: 460
Calories From Fat: 40
2. Chick-Fil-A Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich
Calories: 300
Calories From Fat: 30
3. Wendy’s Grilled Chicken Go Wrap
Calories: 250
Calories From Fat: 90
4. Subway Turkey Breast (footlong)
Calories: 570
Calories From Fat: 60
5. KFC Grilled Chicken Breast
Calories: 180
Calories From Fat: 35
While this list is in no way scientific to help you lose weight. These are as a fore mentioned healthier choices.
The best bet is to follow the basics:
- Get Grilled meat if you choose to go carnivore
. - Pile on the Veg – they pack very little in the way of calories but fill the space below.
- Watch the Mayo and other condiments. If you need them, choose wisely – however if your watching the weight this can save you some un-needed calories and put them to use to a tasty meat treat!
