So I went here with work for a get together with visiting people from various sites. It was a great opportunity to mingle etc. However, lets get to the real reason why I review food establishments… THE FOOD
We were in the upstairs area – near the brewery bins – don’t know the name as I do not drink – however it was a loft area if you will. We had two huge tables where we could fit 27 people. We had two TV’s so we could watch the NFL kick off game between the 49ers and the NY Football Giants.
I ordered the Ribeye (16 oz.) and the Prawn add on with a Pepsi. Folks – My belief is that if your steak is well cooked, you do not need ANY steak sauce. I ordered my Ribeye medium-rare. I added a bit of salt to the top and pepper – and it was perfect.
At Ruby River they also bake their baked potatoes – as well as jacket it. What I mean by jacketing the potatoes – they take the baked potato and they dip it in a batter and then deep fry it. Not a low calorie option – however the potato was sitting in my steak juices as I cut the meat. By the time I got to eating my potato – it was great!
Anyway, I was glad I didn’t have to pick up the tab…. Work did. Very good place… I would recomend it.
